REPRODUCTION FUNCTION IN PLANTS
Thanks to this function, plants can produce offspring.
Most plants reproduce via their flowers. The stages are: pollination, fertilization, seed and fruitformation, and germination.
1) POLLINATION: pollen from a flower moves to another flower of the same type.
2) FERTILISATION: is the union of one polen grain and the ovule of another flower of the same type.
3) SEED AND FRUIT FORMATION: the embryo develops forming the seed and then changes to became a fruit.
4) GERMINATION: when the seed is in the soil, it forms a new plant.
